Application fees are non-refundable per IDAPA 24.36.01.202.02. In addition due to internal controls funds are non-transferable. Please ensure that you are submitting the correct application and that a NEW application needs to be submitted. Renewing does not necessitate the submission of an application. ATTENTION MILITARY SERVICE MEMBERS, VETERANS, AND SPOUSES
Pursuant to Idaho Code 67-9305 applications for members of the military, veterans and their spouses will be expedited. Please identify yourself by emailing our office at info@bop.idaho.gov once your application has been submitted. The email subject line should read 67-9305. EXPEDITED APPLICATION.
Pharmacy Technician & Certified Technician Registration
To apply for a new registration or renew a current registration, visit our online licensing portal
Registration Requirements:
- Applicant must be at least sixteen (16) years of age
- Provide current government issued photo ID
- Provide proof of high school graduation, equivalent, or greater. Examples:
- High school diploma
- GED Completion
- High school transcripts that indicate a date of graduation
- College transcripts showing enrollment
- Submission of a completed Fingerprint Card

- For Certified Pharmacy Technicians only – Have obtained and maintained certified pharmacy technician (CPhT) status through:

Registration Requirements:
- Applicant must be at least sixteen (16) years of age
- Provide verification of current of enrollment in a supervised program using the Supervised Program Information Form
- Applicant must not meet the requirement for registration as a pharmacy technician or certified technician.
- Submission of a completed Fingerprint Card
- Applicants under the age of eighteen (18) are exempt from the fingerprint-based criminal history check requirement of Idaho Code.
